Our school pioneered ‘one school, two streams’ to fully actualize the “bi-literate and tri-lingual language policy” in 2000. Since then, the EMI (English as the Medium of Instruction) stream has been in operation. Starting from 2013/14, all junior secondary classes (S1 - S3) have adopted English as the medium of instruction. Putonghua is utilized as the medium of instruction in Chinese Language and Chinese History at all levels.

Our students have achieved excellent results in the HKDSE. The rates of attaining Level 2 (pass rate) or above and Level 4 (credit rate) or above have been higher than those of Hong Kong schools. The credit rates have been over 50%. Over the years, many of our S6 students have achieved distinguished results. Graduates such as LAM Ho Tung (2013), LAI Wan Ying and LI Kin Hei (2014), LIU Munan and LAM Man Ting (2016), LAM Jinn Laan (2018), TANG Shiyu (2020), CHAN Pui Hin Alvin (2021), HEUNG Tin Long and LIN Long Ki (2011) as well as the YIU Yan Long, LI Tin Chak Peter and XIA Yuqian (2023) achieved Level 5** or Level 5* in at least four subjects in the HKDSE and were admitted to the undergraduate programme offered by the Faculty of Medicine of HKU or CUHK. In 2023, there were 129 out of 182 or 71% of S6 graduates admitted to the undergraduate programmes offered by Hong Kong tertiary institutions through the Joint University Programmes Admission System (JUPAS). Particularly, there were 90 students admitted to the undergraduate programmes of the University of Hong Kong (27 students), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (20 students), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (20 students), the City University of Hong Kong (13 students) as well as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (10 students) in 2023. Meanwhile, numerous distinguished students received offers from top universities in the Mainland and overseas, including Architecture (Tsinghua University), Science (Tsinghua University), Clinical Medicine (Fudan University) and Architecture (UCL). For the local universities, students were admitted to Medicine and Surgery, Dental Surgery, Law, Physiotherapy, Economics and Finance, Risk Management and Business Intelligence, Quantitative Finance, Engineering (Major in Artificial Intelligence), Medical Laboratory Science and Radiography, Optometry and Actuarial Science.

Our school always strives to provide students with an all-round education. We aim to foster students’ optimal growth in moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic dimensions. Our students performed excellently in multiple intelligence aspects. The Science Club was awarded the Junior Form Champion in the Hong Kong Greenmech Contest and represented Hong Kong to participate in the World Greenmech in Taiwan during the summer holiday. In addition, 17 students performed outstandingly and received the Best School Award (7th place) in the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad 2023. In the Hong Kong Hua Luo-geng Cup Mathematics Competition, 4 students performed excellently individually and presented to the group as first runner-up in the secondary level.

Furthermore, our students achieved remarkable success in inter-school arts and sports competitions. In the field of arts, our school won the Honours Award in group and individual dance in the Schools Dance Festival. In sports, our school was awarded first runner-up in the Inter-School Cross Country Competition and ranked no.1 in co-educational schools. The boy’s team was awarded first runner-up in the Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Badminton (Team) Tournament. The girls' A and C grades achieved second runner-up and advanced to the top three in Hong Kong and Kowloon districts. Last year, our alumna performed outstandingly in the Hong Kong selection tournament for table tennis in the Student (Youth) Games of the People’s Republic of China. She will represent Hong Kong in the China National Youth Games. In addition, a S.6 graduate will represent the Hong Kong Swimming Team in the coming Hangzhou Asian Games. Furthermore, our nine school teams, comprising boys’ and girls’ swimming, boys’ and girls’ badminton, table tennis, cross-country teams and girls’ basketball, are now in inter-school Division 1. Also, we were awarded the TOP THREE PLACES in the BOCHK Bauhinia Bowl Award out of 200 co-educational schools in recent years. In 2017-2018, we even secured the FIRST position.

Our school offers scholarships to students who have achieved excellence in either academic or multiple-intelligence performance. If your child meets the following criteria, his/her school fees will be waived partly or fully after attending the admission interview.
