Objectives

“Successful Teaching” is the principle of the Mathematics Department. We adopt the approaches of “easy starts but demanding”, “step-by-step in quick tempo”, “more activities for diversification”, and “immediate feedback and correction”. Through the implementation of the “5-step Teaching Method” and “Action Research Method”, we encourage active students’ participation in the learning process and lead our students to success.
Other than enhancing students' logical and problem-solving skills, much emphasis has been attached to the grooming of gifted students. We identify students with exceptional abilities and design a special school-based programme to nurture them.
