There are two voluntary teams under Civil Education Team, namely Voluntary Work Team and Social Services Team. By participating in either teams, students can learn as they serve the needy. They can also have a chance to understand themselves better and realize their potentials. Through different kinds of voluntary services, volunteers can express their love and care for the needy. The voluntary activities can also cultivate students’ sense of responsibility, self-confidence, organization skills, leadership skills, communication strategies, and collaboration tactics, etc., which are all vital for their interpersonal relationships in daily life and future personal development. The voluntary services students participated include visits, flag days, meal distribution initiated by ‘Ming Gor’ (a kind-hearted restaurant owner in Sham Shui Po) and HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme, and so on.
