Through the teaching of Textbook knowledge, experimental skills and organizing extra-curricular activities, students are able to develop an interest in Chemistry and an understanding of how Chemistry is related to everyday life.
Students are encouraged to adopt an inquisitive approach to daily questions followed by investigative activities, including experiments, data collection and discussion. Informed decisions can be made after analysing results drawn. Students’ knowledge towards the diversity and patterns of matters in nature will be then enhanced. In order to increase students’ competitiveness in this changing world and to cultivate the idea of environmental protection and sustainable development so that they will become civilians upgraded with a good sense in science, we seek to develop students’ interest towards chemistry, sense of chemistry, attitude towards science, familiarity towards the scientific method, ability to solve problems, ability in self-initiated study, logical thinking and communicative ability.
